Project Manager - Remote/HybridLocation: NationwideState/Territory:Department: Power Delivery PMIS DeptDescriptionProject Manager - RemotePOWER Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager for our Program Management Information Solutions (PMIS) team. In this role, project managers are responsible for managing the PMIS on POWER projects and leading a team supporting the configuration and implementation of this tool. The successful candidate will have a background in project management, marketing, presentations, requirements gathering, and engineering or construction consulting experience for utility clients. The successful candidate will have the option to work Remote, Hybrid, or in the office depending on the candidate's and POWERS needs.This position is posted in multiple POWER office locations with the ability to work remotely from a mutually acceptable location (please note in the application questions where you prefer to belocated).Job Summary of Roles and ResponsibilitiesThis individual will be responsible for managing the technical and financial aspects of PMIS projects, managing and developing client relationships, marketing and presenting POWER's services to existing and new clients. Other responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:Managing status reporting, invoicing, accounts receivable, and unbilled for each projectCollaborating with environmental, engineering, and construction management project teamsProviding leadership and mentoring to the project teamDeveloping & maintaining schedules, leading/participating in weekly project status meetings with project teams, and overseeing budgetsParticipating in proposal preparation and estimatingTaking the lead role in client relationshipsWorking primarily with Power Delivery, but may also interface with other divisions, as neededDemonstrated Project Management skills should include scheduling, budget, and cost analysis, managing project teams, as well as proposal writing, client marketing, and project presentationsLead frequent demonstrations for internal and external clientsPromoting company culture and managing internal and external relationshipsRequired Education/ExperienceBachelor s degree from an accredited University in construction management, engineering, or technology required or equivalent industry experienceFive (5)+ years of project management experienceMinimum of three (3) years of consulting and client management experienceMinimum of three (3) years of relevant industry experience (construction management, engineering, and/or environmental consulting)Knowledge and experience with project management processes and toolsKnowledgeable in industry-leading project management, document management, and construction management vendors and applicationsStrong leadership and communication skillsDesired Education/ExperienceKnowledge of the electric utility industryExperience in system requirements gathering and business process developmentProject Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferredProficiency with financial analysis tools and project performanceWorking knowledge of business intelligence (BI) vendors and applications used for project or program data analysis and reportingFamiliarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and project performance toolsCloud hosting technology knowledgeAt POWER Engineers, you can have a rewarding career on every level.
