Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a retail liaison to our brokerage. This position will play a crucial role in assisting our entire leasing strategy and overall market. This is an exciting opportunity for any professional looking to grow their career in retail real estate and have a serious impact on the city of Houston. You will have the opportunity to work directly with the developers and planners of this project to learn and grow as a specialty retail leasing professional.


Responsibilities:

  • Identify and cold call on specialty retail tenants in urban districts to generate leads and opportunities.
  • Manage LoopNet and CoStar listings to ensure accurate and up-to-date property information.
  • Take and manage all sign calls from potential tenants, providing excellent customer service and information about available properties.
  • Report on tenant activity, including lead generation, outreach efforts, and client interactions.
  • Handle letters of intent (LOIs) and assist in negotiations between landlords and tenants.
  • Assist with markets and sourcing/managing pop-up vendors.
  • Be familiar with Concept Neighborhood (CN) leasing plans and strategies to effectively market and lease retail properties within designated urban districts.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or related field a plus.
  • Curiosity for cultural trends food and fashion a huge plus, (please address in cover letter to be considered)
  • Minimum of 1 year of retail leasing background, demonstrating experience in identifying and securing retail tenants.
  • Strong interest in retail trends and urban, mixed-use development, with a passion for staying informed about industry advancements and market dynamics.
