JOB RESPONSIBILITES
- Review existing training programs and recommend enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning, and retention and/or to meet the changing needs of customers, the organization, or the industry.
- Communicate with managers and team members to ensure all training needs are met.
- Coordinate executive or leadership development programs.
- Conduct orientation programs and arrange on-the job training for new hires.
- Meet periodically with management to review new training needs.
- Monitor and evaluate training program effectiveness and report on them.
- Ensure that training milestones and goals are met.
- Problem solver and tailor training programs as necessary.
- Review Repair Station Manual, Training Manual, Forms Manual, and EASA Manual for corrections and validation.
- Maintain and monitor Computer Based Training (CBT) Program.
- Maintain employee training files.
- Maintain Drivers Training education for airfield drivers.
- Ensure all required safety and security regulations are met in the repair station.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- A four-year degree in Education or equivalent experience in Aviation related training.
- A minimum of three (3) years experience in training of Power plant or aircraft training on one of the following product lines:
- GE, CF6, CF34, GE90.
- CFMI -3, -5 and -7.
- PW 2000, 4000.
- RR RB 211, Trent 800.
- Computer Skills- Able to use MS Outlook (Email), Word, Excel.
- Familiar with 14 CFR Part 145 Repair Station Regulation.
- Ability to navigate the OEM manuals, read and understand technical data.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to meet the physical demand of the job like sitting, standing, climbing on engines, pushing, and pulling.
- Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including FAA, OSHA, DOT and State/Federal regulations.
- Must be able to wear eye and respirator protection as needed.
