Pem-Air Turbine Engine Services is an FAA and EASA-certified global repair provider of gas turbine engines, accessories, and related platform components. JOB RESPONSIBILITES

  • Review existing training programs and recommend enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning, and retention and/or to meet the changing needs of customers, the organization, or the industry.
  • Communicate with managers and team members to ensure all training needs are met.
  • Coordinate executive or leadership development programs.
  • Conduct orientation programs and arrange on-the job training for new hires.
  • Meet periodically with management to review new training needs.
  • Monitor and evaluate training program effectiveness and report on them.
  • Ensure that training milestones and goals are met.
  • Problem solver and tailor training programs as necessary.
  • Review Repair Station Manual, Training Manual, Forms Manual, and EASA Manual for corrections and validation.
  • Maintain and monitor Computer Based Training (CBT) Program.
  • Maintain employee training files.
  • Maintain Drivers Training education for airfield drivers.
  • Ensure all required safety and security regulations are met in the repair station.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • A four-year degree in Education or equivalent experience in Aviation related training.
  • A minimum of three (3) years experience in training of Power plant or aircraft training on one of the following product lines:
  1. GE, CF6, CF34, GE90.
  2. CFMI -3, -5 and -7.
  3. PW 2000, 4000.
  4. RR RB 211, Trent 800.
  • Computer Skills- Able to use MS Outlook (Email), Word, Excel.
  • Familiar with 14 CFR Part 145 Repair Station Regulation.
  • Ability to navigate the OEM manuals, read and understand technical data.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to meet the physical demand of the job like sitting, standing, climbing on engines, pushing, and pulling.
  • Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including FAA, OSHA, DOT and State/Federal regulations.
  • Must be able to wear eye and respirator protection as needed.
