Description
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Job site safety for employees/subcontractors/homeowners
- Manage construction projects from start to finish
- Schedule and work with subcontractors to ensure proper execution on site
- Manage work sites to MA Peterson standards; organization of materials and delivery, cleanliness, debris containment & removal, and following all site policies & procedures
- Effectively leading team members on site
- Interacting with clients in a respectful and professional manner
- Weekly report to production manager regarding project status
Requirements
- Minimum five years of carpentry experience and 3 years project management role
- Successful record of accomplishment as a carpenter/remodeler
- Power and hand tool experience necessary
- Be willing and able to travel the metro area to work sites
- Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and computer skills a plus
- Team player, problem solver
- High School diploma with 5 plus years of experience in residential construction
- Current driver's license
- Must be able to drive to job sites and office as required
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have an easy going, pleasant personality

- Work is performed in a construction environment(outdoors/indoors) that constantly includes moving, operating power and hand tools, ascending/descending ladders, communicating with co-workers/clients/vendors, and carrying over 50 pounds.
