Job Opportunity:
A full-time Civil Engineer PE to join our team at our Nashville/Murfreesboro location. This role entails spearheading or contributing to civil site project design and execution, client liaison, stormwater management design, and the facilitation of permits across various residential and commercial ventures. Our ideal candidate, a licensed Civil Engineer, will collaborate closely with our in-house team of civil engineers, landscape architects, and land surveyors to support our clientele in realizing both public and private mixed-use projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate survey plans, reports, and gathered data to formulate project designs
- Project timeline forecasting and adherence
- Utilization of AutoCAD Civil 3D software for design creation
- Liaise with state, local, and federal authorities for permitting processes
- Undertake additional duties as necessitated
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
- 4-6+ years of professional experience in site design
- Tennessee PE or ability to achieve by reciprocity within 6 months
- AutoCAD Civil 3D experience
- Experience in site design, entitlements, and permitting with local jurisdictions
- Effective oral and written communication
- Experience with permitting processes and procedures
- Background in turnkey site design in either residential, multi-family, or commercial
- Knowledge of green infrastructure and LID
