Our client is a mid-size manufacturer of Consumer Goods which now requires a Director of Procurement to define the category strategy for the Americas managing a small team. The role involves:
- Procurement strategy & planning for direct materials & packaging
- Lead new source & material introduction
- Commodity management
- Supplier performance
- Supervision of a small team of Category Buyers
The candidate:-
- Bachelor s degree in Operations, Logistics, Business, Engineering or related
- At least 7 - 10 years experience in Procurement/Purchasing in a manufacturing industry
- Strong project management and communication skills
The base salary on offer is up to $160,000 plus 20% bonus and a range of benefits.
