The teams of physicians treat a broad range of conditions including neck and back pain, pelvic pain and joint-related pain as well as spinal stenosis and disc herniations. With so much medical experience under one roof, the ISPPC team is fully prepared to help patients overcome injuries and get back to their everyday lives.


Job Responsibilities:

  • The qualified candidate will be expected to perform evaluation and management of acute and chronic pain patients with a robust volume of pain procedures.
  • Position will require extensive experience performing cervical and lumbar epidural injections, facet interventions and radiofrequency ablation. Other procedures include nerve blocks, peripheral and spinal cord stimulation, intrathecal drug delivery, vertebral body augmentation (kyphoplasty) and interspinous spacers among others. Biologic and regenerative therapies are also emphasized.
  • The qualified candidate will perform new patient, follow-up, procedure and telemedicine visits.
  • Supervision of physician assistants or nurse practitioners as required.
  • Will be required to market the practice to referring physicians and other audiences and attend marketing events as needed.


Work schedule:

5 days per week, minimal call requirements.


Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional, clinical office environment. This roles routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and medical equipment such as C-Arm, radiofrequency generator and ultrasound machine.


Required Qualifications:

  • Board certified or eligible in PM&R, neurology or anesthesiology.
  • Fellowship trained.
  • Board certified or eligible in pain or spine medicine.
  • Valid medical license to practice medicine in Commonwealth of Virginia and District of Columbia or ability to obtain such license.
