**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

- Responsible and accountable for all results pertaining to Safety, Quality and Productivity of Drying Team Members.

- Assigning and directing work of all team members to ensure safe and affective execution of production plans.

- Training and development of each team member in standardized work for each position using Job-Instruction-Training methods.

- Leadership and support in all Continuous Improvement initiatives including Job Instruction, Job Relations, Performance Counseling, STW, 5S and the Daily Management System (DMS).

- Monitoring of the performance of each team member with strong coaching and counseling.

- Identification and driving improvement within the department.

* Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Basic Math Skills - %, Mode, Mean, Basic Statistics (Calculate Tact, C/T and Production targets).

* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

* Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram or schedule form.

**EDUCATION**

One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. High School diploma and/or GED.

**LANGUAGE SKILLS**

Must posses good communication skills.

**SAFETY HAZARDS AND PPE REQUIRED**

Safety glasses, Safety Shoes and Hearing protection must be worn in designated areas.

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

- Will be exposed to different temperatures.

- Must be able to climb/stand/walk, 8-9 hours per day.

- Must be able to bend/stoop frequently.

- Occasionally must be able to lift/carry 50 lbs.

- Occasionally must be able to kneel/crouch, push/pull.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or
