The Ford Agency is actively recruiting for a professional and collaborative Foundation Giving Director to join a healthcare focused non-profit. This individual will manage a team of dedicated fundraisers, cultivate relationships with corporations, foundations, and partners, and develop strategies to increase opportunities for funding for this amazing mission.
Responsibilities Include:
- Manage a portfolio of corporate and foundation prospects
- Cultivate relationships with foundations and corporations with capacity of awards of $100k+ and grants of $1million
- Develop corporate and foundation strategies to increase funding
- Manage, mentor, and coach a team of fundraisers
- Collaborate with local government officials and community members to gain public support
- Collaborate with Communications and leadership to ensure that organizational goals align with corporate and foundation fundraising goals
- Represent the non-profit at events and other speaking engagements
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 7+ years of corporate and foundation fundraising experience
- 2+ years of supervisory experience
- Proven success with proposal writing, research, and reports
- Professional communication and public speaking skills
- Proficient in Raiser's Edge and Salesforce

Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
