We are currently seeking an Ohio Bridge Leader to join our Infrastructure - Transportation/Bridge Team at our office in Columbus, OH.

The Ohio Bridge Leader is responsible for working with the Ohio team to grow the bridge practice regionally. The individual in this role oversees the overall client relationship including any technical, financial, or logistical issues that may arise. Our Bridge Leader will be a skilled collaborator who is an expert at problem solving, adapting and driving growth.

The Ohio Bridge Leader clearly and successfully communicates with a variety of stakeholders and plays an important role in setting visions and strategies for other Project Leaders while demonstrating an understanding of our goals. They are responsible for developing our strategy for key clients and, with the support of a team of project managers and senior technical staff, executing that strategy to achieve client satisfaction and growth. Additionally, this individual is knowledgeable of the client s organization regarding budget, priorities, organization structure, trends, and policy issues, and understands our capabilities to maximize and grow our market share.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Science, Planning, Engineering Management or a related degree required; Master's Degree preferred
  • PE or equivalent professional license required
  • Minimum of 15 years' experience required; minimum of 8 years' project management experience required
  • Established relationships with ODOT leadership required
  • Knowledge of and history with ODOT contracts, selection process, and pre-qualifications required
  • Experience preparing proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations and project closeout documents for projects required
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and growing client relationships
  • Experience understanding and interpreting client contract requirements
  • Ability to track and oversee multiple projects required
  • Experience utilizing problem-solving skills, exercising discretion, and making independent judgments required
  • Experience managing project accounting processes to include project budgeting, forecasts and cash management required
  • Experience in Microsoft Office suite required
  • Knowledge of Deltek Vision preferred
  • An articulate and persuasive communicator with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences
  • Ability to travel as needed required (~10% of the time)
