Regional Sales Director (Vape Industry)

Overview:


The Regional Sales Director will partner with the Vice President of Sales in developing a sustainable, profitable sales strategy. This role will also work closely with the Vice President of Sales to coach all Branch Managers to be directly responsible for performance management, coaching, and talent development. The Regional Sales Director will ensure that best practices are followed across the region and that offices are successfully meeting their sales targets.

This role will be based in Baldwin Park, CA. This role will require traveling, and at times, at a moment s notice.


Responsibilities:


  • Partners with VP of Sales to plan and execute the Company s sales strategy. Proposes ideas to increase market share. Ensure region meets or exceeds its sales goals.
  • Hire, train, coach, and lead Branch Managers in the execution of the Company s sales plan. Partners with Branch Manager to hire, coach, and discipline local sales team members as needed. Conducts reviews of Branch Managers on a regular basis.
  • Participates in monthly sales reviews with Executive management. Identifies key trends in the local market and ensures long-term sales strategy aligns with the market. Finds new growth opportunities.
  • Understands category-specific landscapes and trends.
  • Partners with Corporate teams (Operations, HR, Finance) to ensure best practices are followed in local offices. Provides recommendations for process improvements, training needs, and other components to Corporate teams.
  • Partners with local branches to foster successful long-term relationships with clients. Conducts client visits on a regular basis in support of Branch sales opportunities. Manages key account relationships as needed to ensure needs are met.
  • Performs additional duties as required by the VP of Sales


Qualifications:


  • At least 4 years of experience in a Sales Manager or senior sales role required. Experience handling multiple offices, or experience as a Regional Sales Manager strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience managing sales teams required.
  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent preferred.
  • Employee must be based in either Littleton, CO or Phoenix, AZ. Employee must be willing to travel to regional offices at least 20-40% of the time, at times with short notice.
  • Must be available to respond to client or team concerns at night or on weekends, as required.
