Job Description:
Sharon Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, is seeking a Production worker for our facility located in Niles, OH. Reporting directly to the Production Foreman.
Responsibilities:
- Working with hand and/or power equipment
- Running any/all machinery
- Material handling
- Ensuring proper safety procedures are followed
- Operating Mobile Equipment
- Operating packing and banding equipment
- Other duties as assigned by management
Required Skills/Abilities:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- 1+ years industrial experience strongly preferred
- Good work history
- Proven mechanical aptitude
- Attention to detail, dependability, professionalism
- Ability to work shift work
- Ability to work OT as needed
- Ability to pass urine drug screen / Non DOT Physical / background check
- Legally authorized to work in the US
- Regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this role
- Lead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy
Physical Requirements:
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to walk or stand at least 80% of shift.
