Sales Representative/Product Demos (Audiology) - Tech Devices (To $60s)

Our client, a global company that designs and manufactures innovative and in-demand products for individuals with hearing needs, is launching its first US office in Morrisville, NC. The company has developed a portfolio of alerting devices for hard-of-hearing and deaf people that will significantly improve the quality of life (and the safety) for its customers.


Product types include amplifiers, bed shakers, smoke/fire alarms, baby cry notifications, etc., etc. These are life-altering solutions for those with hearing needs, and finding the right candidate to help promote the products to audiologists and others in the community is a top priority at this time.


Things to Note:


The initial focus for this role will be the veteran community. There are tens of thousands of veterans with hearing needs and this BDR will work with the VA medical community to connect them with these products. They can be life-changing.


This is a broad-based role. This Sales Rep will research the VA contacts, schedule appointments for product demos, conduct the product demos and provide customer/prospect follow-up. Seek candidate who brings the energy, tenacity and organizational skills to get it all done.


This is a relationship-building role. This Sales Rep will be the primary liaison with the audiology community. Seek articulate and congenial candidate who will readily earn the respect and trust of the potential referral partner.


In addition to promoting to the veteran community, this Sales Rep will participate in trade shows, conventions, and other networking events. Seek candidate who enjoys a varied role.


This is a highly entrepreneurial environment. It is a small team (<10) with a mission to significantly impact the community while also running and building a financially-successful business. We seek a hands-on go-getter who is ready and eager to contribute to both goals.


This position is on-site in the company s Morrisville offices. Some travel will be involved.


Responsibilities include:

  • Finding new potential customers in targeted channels
  • Setting up and conducting online and in-person product training and sales meetings
  • Understanding and documenting the customers' needs and wants
  • Customer follow-ups
  • Managing product demo room, including equipment and products
  • Weekly performance reporting
  • Participating in Exhibitions, Conventions, and similar events
  • Contributing ideas for continuous improvements within the company


Targeted candidate will offer a BA/BS degree and 5+ years of business experience, including substantial experience in relationship-building roles. Experience working with the military or other government channels is a plus.
