Position Overview: -
This role involves providing strong sales abilities, business development activities in positioning HCL offerings around Verizon portfolio to target customers/markets in collaboration with NORAM HCL and Verizon Sales teams.
Responsibilities: -
- 20+ years over all work experience plus experience in different techno-commercial roles
- Direct Experience in Sales/Business Development in NORAM Market
- Exposure to Managed Services/System Integration: Experience on Selling Solutions around Verizon Networks/Security/Cloud/Unified Communications across Enterprises or Service Providers portfolios.
- Direct Experience in Verizon Business Development/Managing Alliances with Verizon or Verizon GSI partners preferred.
- Rich and diverse background and understanding of Global Business and Outsourcing markets and partnership management.
- Ability to work in a Matrix Organization.
- Large & Complex Deal Exposure
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills required.
- Bachelor s degree required, MBA a plus.
Desired Skills: -
- Work with the NORAM Sales team to identify and qualify business opportunities, to identify key customer technical objections and to develop the strategy to resolve technical impediments to business transactions.
- Manage Relationship with Verizon Business Teams in the region and drive business together.
- Primarily responsible for researching and identifying business opportunities & generating leads.
- Target identification and classification for Verizon opportunities
- Develop and acquire new customers and up sell to existing customers for new revenue opportunities.
- Works across NORAM to create a market for defined Verizon offerings and services, and to qualify and develop opportunities within those markets.
- Making technical presentations and demonstrating how HCL offerings along with Verizon products meets client needs.
- Business Development/Sales background that enables to engage at all levels of a customer and partner organization, including CXO-levels of the business and IT.
- Prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan business objective.
- Develop long-term strategic relationships with key companies.
- Maintain an accurate forecast and various business reports.
- Possess the technical ability to explain Cloud Computing, Infrastructure solutions & Internet architectures.
- Responsible to establish and grow business and technical relationships and managing the day-to-day interactions with partners and internal sales teams.
- Experience with Networks, Security, Unified Communication, PaaS and IaaS technologies on public or hybrid cloud platforms.
- The candidate should possess both a business/sales background that enables them to engage at the CXO level and field level, as well as strong technical competency focused on the IT landscape and cloud computing.
