Project Delivery Manager (Construction Manager)

You will play a key role in elevating the quality of our client care, allowing us to support our design solutions through to their implementation. You will naturally want to excel in holistically looking at projects from various angles, working with designers, engineers and other project professionals to ensure an integrated final product. Your leadership will guide our team, clients and partners in winning and executing projects and ensuring the most hassle free delivery of our clients projects. Leveraging external subcontracting teams and creating a healthy ecosystem of partners will be an important element to your success in this role.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • in the preparation and presentation of key project pitches, namely when the client is looking for a holistic design and delivery option
  • with the project team to prepare overall project schedules
  • internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • that all projects are delivered on-time, within the scope and within budget
  • in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • bid packages and invitations to be sent to subcontractors
  • proposals received by subcontractors against the construction documents
  • the submittal process with subcontractors and the architect and/or consultants
  • RFI s to the architect and/or consultant when engaged by a subcontractor
  • RFI answers to the field personnel and revising construction documents accordingly
  • in developing a supply chain database
  • changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • and escalate to management as needed
  • manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • risk management to minimize project risks
  • and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • the field work is up to date with the latest project direction and documentation ensuring a seamless integration of design and delivery
  • in pre-construction efforts
  • of overall project budgets and costing
  • pre-bid meetings as required
  • compliance with applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
  • with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
  • overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel's performance) and report regularly on project status
  • with contractors and subcontractors to share design and construction expertise in order to create inventive, well-crafted environments

As M Moser Associates Construction Management/Project Delivery Manager, you are exceptionally driven and organized in your thinking with a knack for digging into a problem to find its solution. You are a great multi-tasker with an eye for the details who works well under pressure and never misses a deadline. Our Project Construction Management/Delivery Manager will be looking for a start-up opportunity with an established global company.


Qualifications & Key Competencies

  • 5-10 years of experience in project leadership, including the construction management of at least 2 or 3 large scale innovative workplaces in San Francisco, Bay Area
  • in managing contractors, subcontractors and vendors to create a cohesive delivery team
  • experience in the field working hand in hand with construction partners
  • accreditation and familiarity with the Design-Build process preferred
  • with the entire project lifecycle, from pre-lease services through post-occupancy
  • skills in dealing with people, able to work with and manage teams
  • proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and MS Office
  • degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management or Design or other related fields, preferred
  • knowledge of building codes, standards, and building structures
  • and able to oversee a complex process
  • fiscal accountability and responsibility
  • leadership, organization, communication, and relationship management skills
  • to communicate and work effectively with senior leadership and members of our global team
  • active presence in the Architecture & Design community
