**LOCATION:** DeForest, WI **Summary:**
Warehouse Clerk opening on 1st shift. Pay starts at $19.00/hour! Temp-to-hire opportunity in the DeForest area. This position is key to helping operations run smoothly and effectively by performing data entry, inventory, cycle counting and other warehouse-related tasks. Schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00 am 4:00 pm, with some flexibility on shift times. Full benefits upon hire!
**Responsibilities:**
* Perform cycle counts and investigate discrepancies
* Make system adjustments or system moves based on count discrepancies from cycle counts
* Maintain and reconcile inventory in offsite warehouse locations and work with supervisors, shift leads and inventory clerks to maintain accurate inventory in production locations
* Meet department goals for dollar, unit and location inventory accuracy
* Communicate with or train associates in inventory transactions
* Provide coverage throughout the warehouse as needed
* Ensure documentation and processes are handled accurately and according to company procedures
**Qualifications:**
* HS diploma or equivalent is required
* Knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, and production practices helpful
* Proficient in data entry and general computer use
* Forklift experience a plus
* Ability to work independently and with others
