About The Role
We are looking for a candidate with strong data modeling experience. They will create and design data structures, tables, and columns, ensuring efficient and optimized data models. They will work closely with the business stakeholders, gathering requirements and translating them into effective data models!
Job Title: Senior Data Modeler
Key Responsibilities
This position involves working closely with project teams to understand business data requirements and provide data modeling domain expertise.Develop logical and physical data models for Traditional Data Stores and MongoDB, SQL, AWS (Postgres, OracleRDS).Develop, test, and implement scripts, programs, and related processes to collect, handle, and publish DEV and PROD metadata from data models.Analyzing and translating business needs into long-term solution data models.Evaluating existing data systems.Working with the development team to create conceptual data models and data flows.
Minimum Qualifications
Looking for a Senior Data Modeler who can come in, build data models behind the asset, create tables, run SQL to bring data into UI, handle data governance.5+ years of data modeling experience.Must Haves: MongoDB, SQL, AWS (Postgres, OracleRDS).Experience with both relational, dimensional, and MongoDB, SQL, AWS (Postgres, OracleRDS).Experience with data management standards and data model practicesExperience with physical data structure design in DB2, UDB, Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, and MongoDB using ER/Studio DA or Erwin.Experience with querying databases and analyzing data.High Level Technical Skills.Experience using ClearCase, GIT, Remedy, ER/Studio DA.
Desired Qualifications
DocumentDB (Newer technology but this will be a HUGE PLUS. )Banking / Mortgage/ Finance industry data modeling experience is nice to have.Relevant certifications.
Location: This is 100% Remote role (Needs to work as per EST Time Zone).
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $70,000 $130,000 annually. Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
