Job Summary:Engineering support for United Stated Coast Guard (USCG) Polar Security Cutter (PSC) (CG-9326) Program Management Office (PMO).Education and Experience:Active Professional Engineer's License in either NAME (Naval Architecture/Marine Engineering) or Mechanical EngineeringPM Level II or equivalent certificationAt least ten (10) years demonstrated experience with Government vessel design, construction, and repair with primary focus on marine engineering, machinery control systems, auxiliary systems integration and systems engineering.Experience performing detailed design and analysis in order to evaluate planned engineering changes in support of major shipbuilding acquisition (DHS/USCG Level 1, DoD ACAT I or equivalent) and repair projects.Essential Duties: Technical Management Services including, but not limited to, all services related to engineering (e.g., electrical, mechanical, naval, and systems)Systems engineering activities including preparation, coordination, and execution of technical reviews, meetings, artifacts, and documentsSupport areas may include, but not limited to:Systems EngineeringConfiguration ManagementConcept DevelopmentDesign Documentation and Technical DataEngineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Metallurgy/Materials, etc.)Engineering Process ImprovementIndependent Verification And ValidationIntegrationInteroperabilityLife Cycle ManagementModeling and SimulationPrototyping and Fabrication SupportQuality AssuranceRed Teaming and WargamingRequirements AnalysisSystem DesignSystem IntegrationSystem Safety EngineeringTest and EvaluationTechnical DocumentationMission AssuranceData AnalyticsArchitecture DesignSystem Verification and ValidationBaseline (Configuration) ManagementData ManagementRisk ManagementTechnical PlanningSystems Engineering TrainingIntegrated Master Schedule SupportKnowledge, Skill and Abilities:Special knowledge in consulting, investigating, evaluating, planning and designing, and engineering principlesVectorCSP is a Federal contracting small business based out of North Carolina.
