Plant Manager
Amotec has been retained on a search for a Plant Manager. This is a strategic leadership position with responsibility to lead, direct, and manage a manufacturing center near New Haven, CT. Our client is a global, publicly traded company specializing in highly engineered components. This business unit services the Nuclear and Commercial industries. The Plant Manager will report to the Regional GM, holding responsibility for cost/P&L, safety, quality, supply chain, materials and operations while driving results for KPI s.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Manage an integrated manufacturing operation including Production, Process Engineering, and Health Safety Environmental and Quality, driving Corporate and Regional initiatives into the business
- Direct senior leadership, own P&L, budgets, drive KPIs while creating new business initiatives
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve profitable growth above market rates and support overall corporate objectives
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast paced environment, delivering results
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- BS in Business, Electrical, Nuclear or Engineering or other related engineering discipline
- 8+ years of manufacturing management, electric assembly and production
- Electrical background, motor/nuclear industry preferred
- Excellent communication, leadership, collaboration, customer service, integrity and people skills
- Strong analytical, planning, forecasting, and decision making skills
