NP - Nurse Practitioner - Clinic/Family Practice - Bilingual (Spanish) a PLUS!
* Full-Time, Permanent position *
Salary: $96k - $105k (based on experience)
Candidates
- We are ready to provide training for all new Graduates.
- We provide excellent compensation ranging from 96k and above depending on experience for services provided to our patients.
- This is an opening for a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant for ONE full-time position in one of the three locations. This position does not require you to do rounds at the hospital or any nursing homes.
- Will accept Physician Assistant or Recent Grad
- Bilingual -SPANISH SPEAKING a major PLUS
Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Responsibilities & Duties:
- Contributes to physician's effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range patient care issues, providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and courses of action; and implementing physician directives.
- Assesses patient health by interviewing patients; performing physical examinations; and obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories.
- Determines abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests, such as x-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory studies; interpreting test results.
- Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
- Instructs and counsels patients by describing therapeutic regimens; giving normal growth and development information; discussing family planning; counseling on emotional problems of daily living; and promoting wellness and health maintenance.
- Provides continuity of care by developing and implementing patient management plans.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
- Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; and advising management on needed actions.
- Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies.
- The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Develops health care team staff by providing information, educational opportunities, and experiential growth opportunities.
