This position is for MWD Field Operators in our Southern Territory: Permian, Anadarko, Eagleford, Haynesville, Barnett, and Woodford.

The MWD Field Operator is responsible and accountable for all MWD activities at the well-site, including all related MWD equipment and procedures: tool preparations, log generation, data acquisition, and quality control. This position will also include effective troubleshooting and failure analysis. MWD Operators will test all tools and equipment before, during, and after each job. This person will need to comply with all safety and company policies, maintain a database for recording all activities of ongoing work, and develop job tickets and daily work reports accurately and timely. This position is under remote supervision.

Job Requirements:

Valid Drivers License
Computer Skills
Mechanically inclined
Troubleshooting
Knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry
2+ years of MWD Epereience
Consistent use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Knowledge Needed:

Knowledge and application of basic engineering and logging principles.
Ability to read and interpret designed well plans and logging information and other well-site data.
Ability to demonstrate technical aptitude to standards required.
Good arithmetic, data entry, and recording skills.
Proven competency in computer software.
Good understanding of rig technology and working practices.
Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Able to communicate potentially complex scenarios effectively and with credibility
Problem-solving skills.
Ability to make effective recommendations to resolve issues.

Pay for this position depends on experience.
