Pet Food Experts is growing! As the leading distributor of pet food and supplies to independent retailers, we value strong, long-lasting relationships with our customers and vendors. Our Customer Experience Department is an integral part of this goal. We are hiring for a Customer Experience Rewards Specialist in our Pawtucket, RI Headquarters.

**SCHEDULE:** Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm

The Customer Experience Coordinator is responsible for the vetting, set up, and maintenance of all sales accounts at Pet Food Experts. As the first point of contact for many of our retailers, the Customer Experience Coordinator begins the development of a positive business relationship while working collaboratively company-wide to properly set up and maintain our accounts.

**SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**

* Communicate daily with potential customers by telephone and email to vet, approve, deny, and set up Pet Food Experts accounts

* Coach customers through the new account process

* Respond to requests and inquiries from prospective customers

* Set up and retain records of contact for all accounts with the highest level of accuracy

* Collaborate with Customer Experience Manager, Coordinators, and Representatives, Marketing, Transportation, Distribution Centers, Accounting, Customer Experience Operations, and Outside Sales Teams to ensure flawless account creation and maintenance

* Assist with distributing emails to appropriate representatives from the orders, customer care and coupon email groups as necessary

**ACCOUNTABILITIES AND SUPPORTING ACTIVITIES**

* Gain understanding of customer-base and market to effectively approve and deny accounts

* Organize all supporting documents for appropriate customer set up or account changes

* Make contractual decisions

* Complete web-based research on potential customer accounts

* Perform credit checks on potential customer accounts

* Leverage technology to aid in decision-making and data analysis processes, account set up, and maintenance

* Solid computer skills, Google Suite and CRM experience a plus

**Education**

* High School Education or equivalent required, college degree a plus

**Experience**

* Minimum 1 year of experience interfacing with customers in a professional environment.
