Title: Senior Wireless Communications Systems Engineer
Base Salary Range: $120,000-$200,000
Location: Santa Monica, CA OR Irvine, CA
Hybrid Schedule 3 days in office 2 days at home
The global leader in Mobile Ad-hoc Network radios and MIMO technology are currently looking to hire a Senior Wireless Communications Systems Engineer focused on development for their next generation product line.
Their multiple input multiple output MANET radios are used across a variety of different industries. They have been used to broadcast the Grammys, Super Bowl, commonly used by first responders, and have even been in unmanned aerial jets.
Senior Wireless Communication Systems Engineer will participate in all phases of wireless technology projects that includes planning, design, implementation, prototyping, verification, and validation.
You will be responsible for the following:
o Full system design and deployment
o Develop algorithms, simulate them, and implement your algorithms.
o FPGA design and verification support.
o Support FPGA and Software development teams for hardware/software implementation and troubleshooting.
o Lead a team of multi-disciplinary engineers
o Design and participate in lab and field testing and troubleshooting..
o Participate in R&D business development and capture efforts as needed.
Required Skills:
- C/C++, MATLAB, Python, etc.
- Knowledge of RF propagation channel modeling
- Digital Communication Knowledge
- Experience with wireless ad-hoc mesh networking
- Experience with routing algorithms
- Must be a U.S. Citizen due to government contracts
