* Customer service skills with effective problem solving abilities; ability to maintain composure and convey a positive attitude while interacting with customers as well as staff members.

* Cash handling experience.

* General knowledge of Computer and General Office Equipment. Applicant must have ability to quickly learn banking software.

* Ability to work flexible or extended working hours to meet bank needs; demonstrate good attendance and punctuality.

* Outstanding listening and communication skills both written and verbal.

* Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn banking products, policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines for compliance issues related to job duties.

* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload.

* Practices bank security procedures; protects customer confidentiality and privacy.

**Minimum Qualifications / Experience:**

* 1-3 years customer service, cash handling or banking experience preferred

* High School Diploma or equivalent required.

**Position:**

* Accepts checks for cashing-verifying identity of customer

* Accepts checks / cash for deposits. Verifies cash and endorsement, makes change, and issues receipts.

* Processes Tax Deposits

* Receives and processes loan payments

* Responsible for Vault balancing

* Balances Cash Drawer

* Balance and Stock ATM

* Processes night deposits and mail-in deposits

* Responsible for ordering and shipping Vault money

* Responds to customer inquiries as appropriate

* Maintains proper cash level in drawers, keep cash secure and maintains high level of safety for the Bank.

* Responsible for outgoing mail and postage

* Performs other tasks requested by supervisor as they relate to the Bank and its functions.

Applicant should be self-motivated and take initiative to achieve both personal goals and bank objectives. They must also maintain a professional appearance in both grooming and dress, adhering to the company dress code.
