As an East Coast Traveling Physician Account Representative (PAR), you will be responsible for continuing or bridging the previous PAR relationship with physicians and office staff, while providing education and customer resources to increase revenue. You will also focus on maintaining the territory and meet & exceed established goals. Call points include neurology, orthopedic, pain, primary care, Ob/Gyn, pediatric, and hospital groups to aggressively maintain the growth within the assigned territory while covering a vacant position. This position is intended to help where a current sales role is either open for a defined period of time due to FMLA, new vacancies, short or long-term disability, or due to new market expansions. The ideal candidate would reside in the broader Orlando Fl area where training takes place. A final position is guaranteed with a great attitude and strong performance.

You will have the opportunity to sharpen your skills while building experience in several SimonMed markets. These include central and western Florida, Kentucky and New York city. Build your skills for a permanent location following the program.

The program consists of 3 phases. A three-month local training phase where you will shadow several Physician Account Representatives and learn best-in-class skills followed by a 12 month traveling assignment which could have you working in western or central Florida, KY, or NY, for a short few weeks or 3-4 months based on the local need. Your final permanent location starts after the 15-month training and traveling role. That permanent position would then be made available in Fl, NY and KY as available but also in other states where SimonMed has locations such as Arizona, Houston TX, Las Vegas, and CA to name a few. The ability to see the country is based on your scope of interest. Stay in Florida or adventure to a new state as you look west.

A room and board stipend covers expenses in markets outside of central Florida and a monthly flight voucher is available to travel back home during the 12 month traveling phase of the program.

  • Prospecting, cold calling, setting appointments.
  • Proven sales record with documentation of consistent sales success
  • Meets and exceeds projected sales goals
  • Develops new business and expands existing business
  • Keeps up to date on the managed health care environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to develop and implement new sales strategies and promotions with physicians
  • Addresses client concerns/issue management and call activity in physician practices.
  • Educates customers through presentations, in-services and literature
  • Ambitious, strong work ethic, and open to new ideas
  • Clean driving record and must live in the broader Orlando area to begin

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:

  • 2+ years of sales experience (medical sales experience a strong plus)

Education:

  • Bachelor s degree required


PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position may require duties including lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, sitting for prolonged periods of time, with frequent standing and walking. Good visual and auditory acuity as well as good manual dexterity and the ability to be readily understood are essential. Must be able to work in an environment with multiple deadlines and priorities.
