Under the supervision of the administrative supervisor and lead counselor of the Medically Assisted Opiate Treatment (MAOTP), the Counselor Assistant/Case Manager will primarily be responsible for the case plan of patients who are admitted to the Opiate Treatment program. The Counselor Assistant/Case Manager will work with the lead counselor for chemical dependency counseling, case management, and treatment planning for patients who have been referred to Maryhaven s Opiate Treatment Program.
Counselor Assistant/Case Manager Requirements
High School Diploma or G.E.D. First hand experience with a twelve-step recovery program or comparable experience required
Associate or bachelor's degree in human services or behavioral science with some paid volunteer clinical experience or internship in the field of chemical dependency treatment, or equivalent preferred
Valid State of Ohio Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA) certification required
