Responsibilities
- The Controller is a key part of the management team, supervising all financial operations.
- He/she will assist in strategic planning, develop procedures, and prepare financial reports.
- Responsibilities include overseeing accounting controls, supporting departments, ensuring compliance, and improving processes.
- He/she will also prepare financial statements, conduct analyses, and provide insights for decision-making.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate for the Controller position should have at least seven years of accounting experience, preferably in clubs or hospitality.
- He/she should demonstrate strong leadership, communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software.
- Integrity, a strong work ethic, and HR management experience are essential. Additionally, he/she will should possess analytical skills, sound judgment, and a positive attitude toward member/guest service.
- A Bachelor s degree in Accounting/Finance and CHAE or CPA certification are preferred. Overall, the ideal candidate should be a strategic, collaborative leader committed to the organization's financial integrity and long-term success.
