**Work Hours:* M-F (40 hours)
*Work Location:* Hayward, CA
*Shift: *1st Shift with possible weekend and daily OT work. 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.
* Perform routine maintenance and upgrades to the building, grounds, and critical manufacturing support systems. Support the facilities department to perform preventative maintenance activities.
* (List of primary responsibilities of this role that account for 5% or more of the work. Incumbent may perform other duties as assigned.)
* Perform routine maintenance and upgrades to the building and grounds as required to ensure compliance with specifications.
* Perform electrical (120V, 208V: 3-phase, 480v: 3-phase) and HVAC work. HVAC work will include cooling/refrigeration system maintenance
* Provide support to ensure pest control and building security requirements are maintained.
* Performed assigned preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled to ensure reliability of equipment and compliance with specifications.
* Perform support and maintenance of the plant critical systems (HVAC, Compressed Air, Purified Compendial Water Systems, Nitrogen) to ensure efficient operation and compliance with specifications.
* Support production and maintenance technicians as required to maintain plant manufacturing operation activities.
* Must have good written and verbal communication skills (ability to read, write and speak fluent English) and understanding of cGMP regulations. Good procedural writing skills.
