JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Edwin L. Herr Counseling Clinic is seeking part-time masters-level individuals to assist in staffing Clinic operations and work in conjunction with personnel. Individuals will see that all clinic and professional guidelines are followed, provide group counseling via telehealth to grades 7-12 students as assigned, and meet weekly with an individual supervisor to oversee counseling work.

Responsibilities:

* Know and understand all Clinic Policies.

* Provide group counseling to clients via telehealth to students in grades 7-12

* Meet weekly with an individual supervisor

* Complete weekly group counseling notes

* Complete midterm and final audit procedures to ensure compliance with Clinic policies and record maintenance.

Required qualifications:

* Experience and/or course work toward a Masters in Counselor Education, Mental Health Counseling, Rehabilitation Counseling, or School Counseling

* Experience and ability to deal with major mental health crises

This job requires the following 3 publicly available clearances:

PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, FBI Criminal Background Check. Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
