Our client, a well-known community bank in New Jersey, is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Real Estate Lender to join their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of commercial lending experience and a strong book of business in the area.
Responsibilities:
- Originate, evaluate, and structure commercial real estate loans in accordance with the bank's lending policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, and referral sources within the community.
- Analyze financial information and assess credit risk to make informed lending decisions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure loans are processed efficiently and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage a portfolio of commercial real estate loans and monitor ongoing credit quality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial lending experience, with a focus on commercial real estate.
- Proven track record of building and managing a book of business in the local market.
- Strong credit analysis skills and understanding of credit risk.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Credit training or background.
- Existing network of commercial real estate clients and referral sources in New Jersey.
