ShiftRx is an early-stage (seed) tech company based in Austin, TX. We are focused on solving the critical healthcare provider shortage by streamlining the sourcing, credentialing, scheduling, and payment process for temporary healthcare providers. Leveraging generative AI and large language models, we develop customized onboarding modules to seamlessly integrate providers into new clinical environments. Our mission is to transform healthcare staffing and enable providers to focus on delivering the best patient care.


Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as an Operations Manager at ShiftRx. This is an opportunity to join as one of the first 10 hires and founding members of the team at an early-stage company building in the AI + healthcare space. You'll oversee daily operations, the ins and outs of building a company, and helping us grow into the next stage. As a foundational member of the operations team, you will play a critical role in shaping the direction and success of ShiftRx. This position offers the unique opportunity to build operational strategies from the ground up, ensuring our service delivery is seamless, scalable, and effectively meets the needs of our clients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the company, ensuring that our service delivery aligns with strategic objectives.
  • Analyze and optimize operational workflows for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Wear "many hats" to execute tasks spanning across multiple departments within the company.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive project milestones and deliver on key objectives.
  • Work closely with the sales, product, engineering, and marketing team to ensure cross-collaboration.
  • Strategy plan with the founders, and legal team to grow into new states and verticals.
  • Analyze data and generate reports.
  • Identifying inefficiencies in the operations process: You will be responsible for identifying inefficiencies in the operations process and implementing strategies for continuous improvement. This includes analyzing data, identifying bottlenecks in the process, and implementing new processes to increase efficiency.
  • Oversee expenses and budgeting to help the organization optimize costs and benefits.


Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in healthcare staffing or operations management
  • Knowledge of recruitment and credentialing processes
  • Proficiency in using technology platforms and software
  • Ability to analyze data and generate reports
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
  • Early-stage (Seed, Series A, Series B) startup experience is required
  • Must live in the Austin area or be willing to relocate


Additional qualifications and skills that would be beneficial for the role include a background in healthcare tech, understanding of clinical workflows, and/ or experience with AI and language models.
