Job Details

  • 2 years processing and running payroll with a 200+ employee company
  • Great customer service able to handle payroll inquiries for employees.
  • Must have a strong knowledge of all payroll functions such as data input, auditing . etc.
  • Ability to manage payroll process from start to finish.
  • High Proficiency with HRIS systems experience with ADP is a must.
  • Strong understanding of benefits programs and standard deductions.

DAY TO DAY:

Our fast growing, family owned client based in Savage MD is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join the team as a full time employee. The primary purpose of this position is to administrate the payroll processes for the company, assuring accuracy and confidentiality in preparing payroll checks. This position reports to the HR Manager and will perform daily payroll department operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes. This individual will also manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely. The Payroll Specialist will resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information and will strive to reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports. Lastly, we are seeking a team player who wants to join a productive HR team at our client.
