Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a dedicated Data Scientist to join our client's team of highly skilled experts in Tysons, VA. Our client is a leading provider of innovative analytics solutions, empowering federal agencies with actionable insights for informed decision-making and digital transformation. In this role, you will collaborate closely with data scientists, software engineers, and subject matter experts to define and implement advanced analytics capabilities tailored to meet the needs of federal customers. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment, contributing to the development and deployment of machine learning algorithms and applications.
Responsibilities includes:
- Research, design, implement, and deploy machine learning algorithms for enterprise applications.
- Assist federal customers in building and optimizing applications to meet their specific requirements.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new features, leveraging deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and reinforcement learning techniques.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences through written documentation and verbal presentations.
- Work on multiple concurrent projects with a strong focus on quality and timely delivery.
Job Requirements:
- Top Secret SCI w/ CI Scope Poly Clearance or higher
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Applied machine learning experience, including regression, classification, supervised, and unsupervised learning.
- Strong mathematical background, including knowledge of linear algebra, calculus, probability, and statistics.
- Experience with scalable machine learning techniques such as MapReduce and streaming.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
REQUIRED Experience and Education:
- MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, or equivalent fields.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
