I am recruiting for a Sales Support Engineer for a client company with headquarters in California. This is a HYBRID REMOTE role with approximately 25% travel or as required.
Candidates MUST live EITHER in Southern, CA, Sacramento or SF Bay area.
This individual will support the sale of new fueling stations by providing the technical acumen and support to help clients understand our products and services and what differentiates us from our competitors by performing the following duties:
Accompany the sales team on presentations to potential customers to answer technical questions, provide input on fuel station design, and estimate costs related to fuel station construction.
Visit proposed station construction sites to access project feasibility and develop proposed installation layouts.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Construction Technology or related experience, plus a minimum of 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience selling or providing technical / engineering sales support for equipment, ideally with gas compressors (natural gas, air, nitrogen, hydrogen, etc.)
Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with aspects of mechanical, civil and electrical engineering and civil, electrical and mechanical construction practices.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook; advanced Excel expertise preferred. The ability to read blueprints; Bluebeam experience is helpful but not required.
Salary plus annual bonus potential plus benefits.
