The Customer Success & Services (CSS) team, the mission is to protect customers business processes by assuring performance from their mission-critical technology. Whether through rapid repair and replacement, Managed Services that oversee asset use and health, freeing IT and Operations resources, or giving insights to improve business operations. We provide repair service and technical support for millions of product devices in the field.


The Sr. Software Product Manager drives the planning and development of service products to optimize the companys products and solutions. They apply industry experience and knowledge of the company's products as well as the competitive environment to identify new growth areas, new technology, and emerging product opportunities. They oversee the analysis and evaluation of key market statistics and customer requirements to define product strategies, identify product opportunities to expand market share and drive success in the market. The Sr. Software Product Manager also works cross-functionally with our highly innovative team of software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to evolve existing solutions while incubating new ideas.


Responsibilities

  • This position will be responsible for global product definition, development, launch, measurement, and performance of Services Tools, and Utilities
  • Own product lifecycle management across market research, components of the roadmap, feature definition, documenting business requirements, translating business requirements into feature requirements, negotiating feature implementation and operational supportability trade-offs that may be needed, while preserving the integrity of business requirements.
  • Through comprehensive knowledge of market, competitive landscape, customer requirements, distribution channels, and client's offerings, creates and executes Voice of Customer research and competitive landscape requirements. Documents opportunities for innovation.
  • Owns development and presentation of business case, including product pricing strategy, by completing supportive research, authoring slides, and delivering presentations to internal and external audiences, routinely including senior management.
  • Ability to identify, negotiate, and document business requirements, then translate them into feature requirements based on customer outcomes that balance the outbound business intent with the inbound technology constraints with high quality.
  • Works collaboratively with other functional leaders, program management, and engineering to develop, align on business objectives, and execute to plan.
  • Ability to work independently across hardware teams, software engineers, data scientists, marketing, and sales specialists to define and evolve the product.
  • Creates, monitors, and reports business metrics against plan.


Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience in service or software product development required
  • 5 years of experience in Product Management is required
  • Strong financial acumen with P & L experience required
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Customer Success, Customer Adoption and Customer Service values/orientation
  • Strong professional work behaviors (attendance, collaboration, time management, follow-through)
  • Demonstrates good judgment in decision-making; applies knowledge and past experience to guide decisions
  • Strong business acumen/industry knowledge
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (listening, providing clear and concise information, using proper language and grammar)

  • Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree preferred


Rate $50 - $65 per hour W2. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
