Hinshaw & Culbertson, a leading national law firm, is seeking an associate with 1-3 years of workers' compensation experience to join its Los Angeles office, with hybrid work arrangements available and the ability to work primarily remotely in the Los Angeles/Orange County areas. The ideal candidate will have a general knowledge of the California workers' compensation system and will have superior writing, research and analytical skills. Deposition and/or trial experience is a plus. The associate will be responsible for managing the legal defense of claims from inception to final resolution, including all aspects of discovery and litigation. This is a great opportunity for candidates seeking a high level of responsibility in an exciting practice. California bar admission is required.

Salary range: Estimated $130,000 to $175,000 annually. This estimated salary range is specifically for applicants who will perform work in the state of California if selected for the role. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary range, market data, applicant skills, and relevant experience. The estimated range is specific to California and not applicable to other locations.
