Human Resources Recruiting Specialist (Bethesda, MD area)


Our client is one of the nation s largest management services and healthcare organizations, owned and operated by physicians, with approx. 2,000 employees, over 60 locations across Maryland, Northern Virginia, and the District of Columbia.

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Human Resources, the Recruiting Specialist manages day-to-day recruiting matters, assists and advises divisional leadership with job descriptions, job postings and sourcing of candidates. Areas of responsibility will involve all aspects of talent acquisition.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads the creation, tracking and monitoring of all job postings in support of our company wide talent acquisition.
  • Responsible for the maintenance, enhancement and optimization of their UKG applicant tracking and onboarding platform.
  • Sources resumes and schedules interviews with potential applicants.
  • Prepares offer letters and other clerical documents related to employment.
  • Revises and helps in the renegotiation of MSAs with recruiting and staffing vendor partners.
  • Initiates, tracks, and documents all background check and drug test results.
  • Maintains the recruiting inbox and provides responses timely.
  • Partners with IT and responds timely to new hire and onboarding setup.
  • Review of current job descriptions as well as the development of new ones that are identified for build.
  • Participates in and/or supports the development and successful implementation of human resources policies, programs, and systems.
  • Designs and develops Orientation training and other HR related training modules.
  • Supports the HR team on other projects and needs when assigned.
  • Receives and guides new hires on their first day.


Requirements:

1. Bachelor s degree in human resources or related field experience is required

2. At least 2 years of talent acquisition experience is required, ideally in a healthcare environment

3. At least 2 years of UKG ATS/HRIS experience

4. SHRM or HRCI certification is a plus

5. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of products

6. Experience and success in collaborating across multiple functions (Divisional leaders/Finance/IT/Clinical Leaders)
