As a Wellness Center staff member, your main responsibilities would include assisting clients with their needs, providing guidance and support, organizing and leading fitness classes or programs, maintaining cleanliness and safety in the facility, and promoting a positive and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a variety of smoothies according to recipes and customer preferences.
  • Ensure ingredients are fresh, properly portioned, and stored correctly.
  • Provide friendly and efficient customer service, including taking orders, answering questions, and making recommendations.
  • Operate blenders, juicers, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the smoothie bar area, including washing dishes, wiping counters, and sanitizing equipment.
  • Restock ingredients and supplies as needed throughout the shift.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety of our customers and compliance with health regulations.
  • Handle cash and operate the POS system accurately for transactions.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to students, faculty, staff, and guests attending events at the Wellness Center
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance job skills and knowledge.
  • Act as a positive role model and representative of the Wellness Center, fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for all members of the campus community.
  • Greet members and guests as they enter the gym, providing a warm and friendly welcome.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area, including keeping the counter tidy, and sanitizing surfaces regularly.
  • Monitor gym access and ensure compliance with safety and security policies, including checking IDs and enforcing access rules.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing files and records.

  • Must be a current student
  • must be available to work full scheduled shifts
