**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**TOOL AND PARTS ATTENDANT**

This Tools and Parts attendant receives, stores, and issues hand tools, machine tools, dies, replacement parts, shop supplies and equipment, such as measuring devices, in an industrial establishment. The Tools and Parts Attendant keeps records of tools issued to and returned by workers, searches for lost or misplaced tools, prepares periodic inventory or keeps perpetual inventory and requisitions stock as needed, unpacks and stores new equipment, visually inspects tools or measures with micrometer for wear or defects and reports damaged or worn-out equipment to superiors. The attendant may coat tools with grease or other preservative, using a brush or spray gun, and may attach identification tags or engrave identifying information on tools and equipment using electric marking tool.

Hourly Compensation: $16.50

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Qualification:**

* Experience in military logistics procedures

* Microsoft Office Suite skills is strongly preferred

* Must be able to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening

* Must be able to obtain a NAC-I and a CAC

* Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma / GED

* Consistent with Presidential Executive Order 14042, you must be able to meet all health requirements, including but not limited to, current and future vaccination requirements for infectious diseases such as COVID-19. The Executive Order generally requires that federal workers and federal contractor employees be fully vaccinated by January 4, 2022

**Desired Qualifications:**

* 2+ year of experience in military supply procedures

* U.S. Army 92-series MOS qualification or civilian equivalent

* Experience with powered industrial trucks / material handling equipment

* Valid Drivers License is strongly preferred
