1st Shift - Monday through Friday

JOB SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Specialist 1 is essential to timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. Under general supervision, the Warehouse Specialist 1 will be required to perform all manner of material handling, product picking, special labeling and packing using handheld technology and inventory software systems. The successful athlete must accurately receive, locate and/or pick correct quantities of materials and or finished goods. Must follow all written instructions per individual order. This position requires sustained moderate physical activity throughout the shift, including ability to crouch, climb, push, pull, reach, lift and carry. Warehouse Specialist Athletes will be assigned in varying work centers and it is essential that they are able to read their schedule and report to the correct work center on time for each scheduled shift.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Receives finished goods from Assembly. Verifies description, quality, quantity, and paperwork. Reports all deficiencies to leadership.
Restocks primary and secondary stock locations in a timely and accurate manner.
Must enter data into computer database maintaining a very high level of accuracy.
Fills customer orders from stock using a tablet computer in a timely, accurate manner and reviews items for final quality.
Fulfills manufacturing departments Bill of Material (BOM) and supply orders and deliver to appropriate work center.
Maintains a 98% picking accuracy.
Properly packaging all product, including completion of special packaging requirements, determination of most efficient and economical packaging option, and ensure proper packing to
Participates in cycle counts and year-end physical inventory.
Performs general housekeeping and department six sigma activities.
Adheres to all Department and Company Standards, Operating Procedures and Safety Requirements.
Treats others with respect and conducts themselves in a positive and inclusive manner daily.
Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL & Experience REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Close attention to detail
Understand written instruction
Proficient computer and data entry skills
Ability to complete repetitive tasks while maintaining mental focus.
Ability to read and follow instruction
Ability to count accurately and perform simple math functions
Ability to inspect materials and finished products for defects

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to lift 25 lbs.
Ability to participate in a team lift of 50 lbs.
Able to stand and walk for entire shift
Comfortable with frequent ladder use
Able to turn or bend
Able to grip/grasp repetitively
Able to push a cart continuously
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Indoors, temperature-controlled environment
May work in a warm, humid environment
May work outdoors/non-climate controlled
May work around machinery with moving parts
Exposure to chemicals and cleaning agents
Required to know & don PPE applicable to work-center guidelines which may include:
o Eye protection
o Heat resistant gloves
