Job Details
Requirements:
- Bachelors or master’s degree in accounting, finance, business or related field.
- At least 8 years relevant experience in SEC reporting and technical accounting areas at large, multi-national public companies (can
be mix of public accounting or in-house as a public company). - At least 4 years of experience directly managing people including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing people as they work.
- Extensive experience leading the process for and preparing SEC communications (e.g., Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and SEC comment
letters) and technical memo writing within publicly traded companies. - Strong technical accounting acumen, with proven ability to perform complex accounting research and analysis.
- Experience applying advanced knowledge level of accounting practices, controls (including SOX 404), and systems for relevant
business processes. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with the highest regard for accuracy, completeness, and meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrated track-record of process improvements and team leadership.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to interact effectively with people across various
functions, management, and external professionals (i.e., auditors and regulators). - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively collaborate and work in teams as well as work independently.
