**Job Summary**

This position is responsible for training, troubleshooting and assuring that inventory transaction methodologies are performed correctly and consistently in the Distribution Center (including Engraving, Product Care, & Distribution-raw material vaults) and Supply Warehouse. Monitoring reports and taking appropriate action to resolve issues or potential issues affecting inventory accuracy, data integrity and (internal/external) customer satisfaction. **Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm, with extended hours as business needs require.**

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:**

* Organize and develop, or obtain, training procedure manuals and guides and materials such as handouts and visual materials.

* Train personnel to perform inventory transactions in Oracle.

* Ensure established transactional methodologies are being followed through consistently.

* Identify and coordinate process improvement opportunities with the stores, work with appropriate Retail Management personnel to address concerns and training opportunities.

* Analyze, reconcile, and resolve inventory/order discrepancies and deduce where the issue occurred. Where necessary, develop training materials to minimize errors in the future.

* Assist staff in reconciliation of inventory variances of finished good merchandise, raw materials, and supplies.

* Review/research status of open orders and transfers.

* Communicate various types of issues or potential issues with internal departments (i.e., inventory, order procedural or ERP system related).

* Develop, implement and maintain a cycle counting program as well as local level audit controls. Assist the Inventory Control Supervisor, to determine what key factors will be used to help prioritize which items need to be cycle counted.

* Train DC personnel on the physical inventory process. Work with the Inventory Control Supervisor to ensure an accurate and efficient physical inventory process.

* Coordinate the expediting of high priority orders and execution of inventory recall processes.

* Maintain a high degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail.

**WHAT IS REQUIRED:**

* High School Diploma or equivalent.

* Computer Skills Proficient in the following applications:

+ Microsoft Office Outlook Calendar and email.

+ Microsoft Office Word Creating memos and letters.

+ Microsoft Office Excel Spreadsheet development, formulas and sorting.

+ Oracle or other ERP systems (Inventory Transactions).

+ File management.

* Ability to read and interpret documents (such as purchase orders, bill of ladings, sales orders, work orders/jobs, packing lists and procedure manuals). Ability to write routine reports and correspondence (via e-mail). Ability to communicate confidently with internal departments personally or via telephone.

* Ability to apply basic logic and understanding to carry out written, verbal or diagram form instructions. Ability to apply good judgment in resolving inventory issues involving several variables.

* Proven ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and manage frequent interruptions. Organized; self-motivated; ability to independently prioritize/coordinate multiple projects/tasks. Ability to work with limited supervision.

* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
