We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist with expertise in traditional and generative AI, (Bedrock and Anthropic are a huge plus). In this role, you will play a key role in advancing our research and development efforts in generative AI technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy innovative AI models and algorithms that push the boundaries of what is possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead research and development initiatives in generative AI
- Understand and possess experience with Traditional AI (R/Python)
- Must have experence with Sagemaker
- Design and implement state-of-the-art generative models to address complex problems and drive innovation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate AI models into scalable and production-ready systems.
- Conduct experiments and evaluate the performance of AI models using relevant metrics and benchmarks.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in generative AI research and contribute to the knowledge base within the organization.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on best practices in generative AI and machine learning.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 6 years of experience in data science and machine learning, with a focus on generative AI techniques.
- Knowledge of Bedrock and Anthropic frameworks and methodologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, with experience in relevant libraries and Experience
Expert level experience, expansive and far reaching knowledge in:
Mathematics and statistics principles and techniques
Data pipeline, data science and/or relevant programming (Python, SQL, etc.)
Data analysis, advanced analytics, data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, or optimization project experience
Visualization and presentation development and delivery
Solving ambiguous and complex problems through a systems thinking approach
Building relationships and trust across functional organizations
Mentoring and upskilling/reskilling team members
Licensing/Certification
