**Job Description**
**The Position**
At Techo-Bloc, our general laborers are a crucial piece of the production puzzle. This entry level role is a perfect fit for those newer to the industry, or anyone looking for a career steppingstone in manufacturing.
Speaking of stones, our laborers are true concrete connoisseurs! Your day-to-day will entail handling and inspecting concrete blocks, while serving as the right hand to our machine operator and maintenance team.
Here is a snapshot of your responsibilities
* Receive and inspect products in accordance with Techo-Blocs standards.
* Utilize a keen eye to verify product height, shape, color and consistency.
* Be Picky. Remove defective pieces from pallets & board and replace with quality pieces.
* Learn and grow, as the right hand to our machine operators. Assist with basic maintenance, pallet wrapping/building, repair and yard responsibilities.
* Ask questions, keep growing. High performers will have the opportunity to develop into additional roles at Techo-Bloc.

**Qualifications**
**Your Experience**
* 1+ years of manufacturing, or related experience
* High School Diploma, or GED equivalent (highly preferred*)*
* Ability to read and use measuring tools.
* Previous machine operation experience is a plus.
**Required Skills**
* Detail Oriented - you believe that a job done right will look good and withstand the test of time.
* Safety-focused - some rules are made to be broken, but you know that safety is never one of them.
* Problem Solver you spring into action when things go haywire and offer support to your team.
* Youre a tough cookie, willing to play in the dirt with us.
