Our client, a prominent player in the print manufacturing industry, is seeking a dynamic Manager to lead their 2nd shift operations. This pivotal role involves orchestrating the daily activities of multiple teams, ensuring the smooth execution of print production processes while driving continuous improvement initiatives. Focus:

  • Lead 2nd shift print manufacturing operations, ensuring smooth workflow and resource utilization across teams.
  • Develop and empower team leaders to cultivate a collaborative, high-performance culture.
  • Implement lean manufacturing methods to optimize processes, minimize waste, and boost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and meet production targets.
  • Prioritize production schedules to meet customer demands, while overseeing quality standards.
  • Maintain a safe work environment, enforce safety protocols, and utilize ERP systems for performance tracking.
  • 2nd shift operations



Skill Set:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven leadership in manufacturing, adept at managing multiple teams and driving process enhancements.
  • Strong understanding of printing and finishing industry practices, with a preference for print manufacturing experience.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, capable of implementing and sustaining process improvements.
  • Excellent organizational skills, adept at prioritizing tasks to meet production deadlines.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, proficient in collaborating with cross-functional teams and motivating employees.
