Teck Alaska Incorporated, Red Dog Operations, one of the world's largest producers of zinc concentrate, is recruiting for a Warehouse Floorperson x4 (Temporary). Due to anticipated needs, we are currently recruiting for a career oriented individuals to fill this role.
Rotation Schedule will be 2 weeks on-site with 2 weeks off-site
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor
**Responsibilities** :
* Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
* Promote mine safety so that everyone is going home safe and healthy every day
* Manage warehouse issues and returns
* Perform inventory cycle counting
* Support fuel barge offload procedures
* Perform air freight receiving operations
* Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications** :
* Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
* Able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
* Able to climb ladders and work outdoors with a potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions
* Previous experience in an industrial warehousing environment including the operation of common warehousing materials including computers is preferred
Successful candidates must be fully vaccinated against infection by COVID-19, subject to an exemption approved by Teck Alaska.
