**This role is primarily an off-site/remote role, with some semi-frequent in-person meeting and working in the Columbus, OH area.**
Caster Connection (launched in 1987) is a manufacturer and distributor of casters and wheels that sells primarily through solutions representatives. Caster Connection s eCommerce website was launched in March, 2014 to further diversify our sales channels and client base. Caster Connection is looking for an experienced eCommerce & Digital Marketing Specialist to support its eCommerce Department and website (www.casterconnection.com), and other online sales channels.
This position offers the right candidate the opportunity to work within a best-in-class, established, and high-growth eCommerce channel, as well as other channels. This team member will have the ability to further propel the growth of these channels, with directly-visible results.
Working amongst the marketing department team, the eCommerce & Digital Marketing Specialist will strategically maintain and develop nearly all aspects of CasterConnection.com s product offering, and will play a large role in developing an optimal client experience.
Responsibilities
- Regularly analyze and report on campaign performance, utilizing data-driven insights to make informed decisions and continually optimize marketing strategies to meet company and marketing goals
- Lead and manage (along with Director of Marketing) ongoing eCommerce goals and projections
- Implement and test strategies aimed at improving eCommerce conversion rates and lead generation
- Assist in basic merchandising activities, including catalog setup, price maintenance, promotions, navigation updates
- Proactively audit and optimize product listings and category pages
- Help manage advertising and promotional campaigns across various platforms such as Google Ads
- Research and report on competition and emerging trends in ecommerce
- Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy, encompassing keyword research, content optimization, and strategic link-building tactics to enhance our online visibility.
- Monitor the health of our website, conduct technical audits, and collaborate with web developers to ensure optimal site performance and search engine rankings.
- Manage agency relationships (Web Development, Paid, Other)
- Collaborate on developing brand and product content
Experience
- A minimum of 5 years in digital marketing, with a proven track record in SEO, digital advertising, and eCommerce optimization.
- Strong understanding of SEO tools such as SEMrush, Moz, and Uber Suggest
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Ads, and various google reporting tools
- Ability to analyze and interpret data to inform marketing strategies and generate performance reports.
- Experience working with eCommerce platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
