Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Leadership: Lead a team of AI algorithm engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical leadership in algorithm development and best practices.
2. Algorithm Development: Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced AI algorithms to address complex challenges across various domains, such as computer vision, natural language processing, and recommendation systems.
3. Research and Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI research and technology, exploring innovative approaches and techniques to enhance algorithm performance and capabilities.
4. Algorithm Optimization: Drive algorithm optimization efforts for performance, scalability, and efficiency, leveraging techniques such as parallelization, distributed computing, and GPU acceleration.
5. Evaluation and Validation: Lead the evaluation and validation of algorithm performance using appropriate metrics and benchmarks, ensuring robustness, reliability, and generalization across different datasets and scenarios.
6. Integration: Lead the integration of developed algorithms into AI systems and applications, ensuring seamless interoperability and compatibility with existing software and infrastructure.
7. Documentation and Best Practices: Define and promote best practices for algorithm development, documentation, and usage, ensuring clear and comprehensive documentation to facilitate understanding and adoption by other team members.
8. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data scientists, and domain experts, to understand requirements and develop algorithms that meet customer needs.
9. Testing and Debugging: Lead rigorous testing and debugging of algorithms to identify and resolve bugs and issues, ensuring reliability and correctness in real-world deployment scenarios.
10. Performance Monitoring: Lead the implementation of monitoring and alerting systems to monitor algorithm performance in production environments, detecting and mitigating issues proactively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field. Advanced degree is preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in algorithm development, with a focus on AI and machine learning algorithms.
• Leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java, and experience with AI frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Strong understanding of AI concepts and algorithms, including deep learning, reinforcement learning, evolutionary algorithms, and optimization techniques.
• Experience with algorithm optimization for performance and efficiency, including parallelization, distributed computing, and GPU acceleration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking, with the ability to develop creative and innovative solutions to complex problems.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
