Job Details
Your main responsibility will be to troubleshoot IT help desk calls, assisting users with application, equipment, and technical issues to ensure their satisfaction. You'll also play a key role in maintaining our organization's networks, operating systems, and hardware platforms.
Here's what you'll do:
- Provide friendly and timely support to users, managing tasks through our Help Desk ticket system.
- Help install and educate users on personal computer hardware and software.
- Assist in maintaining backups and documentation of hardware and software inventories.
- Collaborate with team members to deploy new technology solutions efficiently.
- Support telecommunications and contribute to reducing risks from computer viruses.
- Participate in training and development activities to enhance your skills.
- Unbox, asset management (recording serial numbers, labeling), imaging them, running through check list, manual installations and package installations.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has knowledge of desktop computers and various vendor devices.
- Understands PC hardware and operating systems like Windows XP and Server 2003.
- Is familiar with LAN/WAN communications and protocols.
- Possesses excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Can work well under pressure and independently manage projects.
- Is eager to learn and grow in the field of information technology.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s Degree in computer systems preferred, or five years of relevant experience in IT support.
- Experience with Microsoft Desktop Applications
- Experience with IT Asset Management
- Strong experience imaging new workstations
- CompTIA A+ Certification
