A renowned PR and creative agency in Detroit is seeking a talented Account Executive or contracted freelancer to join its team. As an integral part of the agency, you will have the opportunity to work with top-tier clients, shape compelling campaigns, and drive impactful results. This esteemed firm works with clients in nonprofit, real estate, technology, media, and many other sectors.
This booming agency is led by PR professionals with some of the strongest connections in the industry. They focus on supporting diverse individuals not only within their workplace but all over the world.
As an Account Executive/Senior Account Executive or freelancer, you will be responsible for working within media relations to amplify the voices of companies that aim to make change. You will design and develop press releases and media lists and pitch to internal and external stakeholders in the Detroit area.
The Role:
- Manage client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact.
- Develop and execute strategic PR campaigns to meet client objectives.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Monitor media coverage and provide strategic counsel to clients.
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to business development efforts.
The Ideal Candidate:
- 5+ years of experience working in PR for nonprofit or mission-driven clients.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail.
- Knowledge of the Detroit market.

Salary: $55,000 to $80,000 depending on experience.
